Find the Most Comfortable Recliners for Football Season

Football season is just around the corner!  To be honest, I get a little more excited about fall leaves and pumpkin lattes than I do about football, but I love having friends and family over to watch the game.  I always want my guests to feel at home and comfortable at my house, so lately my husband and I have been looking to add some reclining chairs to our TV room.  After test-driving several (ok, dozens) of recliners, I’m learning that we’ve got a lot more options than I thought.

Want the comfort of a recliner with the look of a club chair?  Try a high leg recliner in a fun patterned fabric.   These are a great choice if you need a comfortable spot in a more formal living room since they don’t take up as much space as an average recliner.  Since patterned recliners are finished nicely all the way around, they are a great choice if you are floating the chairs in the room.  High leg recliners are a great way to give your room a bit more style, but still satisfy the need for comfort.

Gearing up for the big game includes stocking up on snacks and making sure everyone’s got a good seat for the action.  What could be better than a comfortable recliner with all the bells and whistles?  You wouldn’t believe some of the features in today’s recliners—chilled seats, memory power headrests, heat and massage are just a few of the options.  Now the only thing you’ll have to worry about is staying awake for the game!

Theater seats aren’t just for the movies.  Use a stand-alone theater seat as a recliner and you’ll have all the comfort you need.  They come with a variety of options like power-reclining, lighted cup holders and power headrests that will keep your neck supported during the big game.  Modular theater seats are a great choice because you can add more seats later on if you need them, or reconfigure your seats for different room setups.  Just be mindful that all those power options require a wall or floor outlet, so be sure to plan accordingly.

With all of these options, you’re sure to have the best seat in the house all season long!
