The Game Changer: June Lineup
Welcome to the Game Changer for June 2015. Over the past few months, gamers have dealt with the disappointment of game release delays and cancellations. I was totally disheartened by the delay of the newest game in one of my favorite series, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and an announcement that Silent Hills, starring Norman Reedus, had been cancelled in mid production. In the case of Uncharted 4, I would rather have a delay than it being totally cancelled or encumbered with bugs and errors that could possibly make it unplayable. With all that unpleasantness aside, there are still a lot of great games on horizon.
Let’s get to my Game Changer pick of the month. All good things must come to an end in the fourth installment of this epic series. Be the Batman as you take on Gotham’s foes in Batman: Arkham Knight. This time around you won’t just beat up bad guys, for the first time in this series you’ll actually be able to drive the Batmobile! This new addition to the game will definitely break up the endless button mashing of all the games prior. I can’t wait to see what fate awaits our favorite superhero in this exciting conclusion to the series!
Batman: Arkham Knight Xbox One, PlayStation 4
Action – In the explosive finale to the Arkham series, Batman faces the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy The Dark Knight forever. Batman: Arkham Knight introduces Rocksteady’s uniquely designed version of the Batmobile, which is drivable for the first time in the franchise. The addition of this legendary vehicle, combined with the acclaimed gameplay of the Batman Arkham series, offers gamers the ultimate and complete Batman experience as they tear through the streets and soar across the skyline of the entirety of Gotham City. Be The Batman.
