Valentine's Day Sweets & Treats

February 14th is the perfect day to make sweets and treats for the important people in your life. The possibilities are endless but here are a few ideas…

Cotton Candy Champagne Cocktail

What You Need

Cotton Candy Maker
Hard Candies
Champagne glasses
Champagne

Directions

1. Make your cotton candy. This can be messy but really fun as long as you follow the directions. Or you could buy it premade at the grocery store but where is the fun in that?

2. Put a puff of cotton candy in your champagne glasses.

3. Fill the glasses with champagne. (Do this step when you are ready to impress your sweetie)

4. Watch the bubbles dissolve the cotton candy. Ohhs and Ahhs will soon follow! Enjoy!

Lovable Fondue

What You Need

Fondue Pot
1 12 oz. bag of milk chocolate chips
2/3 cup of half-and-half
Things to dip- there are dozens of possibilities but here are my favorites:
Strawberries
Donut holes
Bananas
Marshmallows
Cheesecake
Pretzels
Store bought cookies

Directions

1. In a medium saucepan, heat half-and-half and chocolate over medium heat. Stir constantly until chocolate is melted.

2. Pour mixture into your fondue pot.

3. Dip away. If mixture gets too thick, add more half-and half.

You can also do a white chocolate version if you have some people who do not like chocolate. Follow the same steps as above but instead of milk chocolate chips use white chocolate chips.
