Friendly Competition on Game Day
Looking for a few fun ways to get everyone excited about watching the big game on Feb. 2nd? We know the commercials are entertaining, but you can provide some extra excitement for your fan zone. Start by having everyone make a list of all the predictable and/or crazy things that can happen during the game and see who’s the most accurate.
Write down how long you think the National Anthem will be (Side note, don’t forget this year it will be an opera singer belting out lyrics), will the coin flip be heads or tails, how many times will Bronco’s star quarterback Peyton Manning say Omaha (#OmahaOmaha), how many times will Archie Manning be shown during the game, and what color Gatorade will be dumped on the head of the winning coach?
The 48th showdown between the NFC Champs and the AFC Champs is bound to be a good one. Playing in New Jersey’s Met Life Stadium in the beginning of February is going to give us the chance to see the game played in the snow for the first time. Speaking of cold weather, will one of the Red Hot Chili Peppers band members actually go shirtless during the halftime show? Will Bruno Mars and RHCP be on stage together?
With the #1 offense (Denver Broncos) facing up against the #1 defense (Seattle Seahawks), who will be the first to score? Will Seattle’s running back Marshawn Lynch eat Skittles on the sidelines helping him get into what the fans refer to as his ‘beast mode’? All of these questions can be put on a list for your friends and family to compete against one another, which adds one more element of fun to this coming Super Sunday. Don’t forget the prize, bragging rights amongst friends!
