Ease Into Your Workout Routine With Group Fitness
The cookie exchanges are over. The holiday parties have been attended and the specialty cocktails tasted. It’s a new a new year and with that comes those New Year’s resolutions. Many of us want to focus on health and fitness but don’t know where to start. If that sounds like you, group fitness is a great option! There are many types of classes to suit different fitness levels and interests. Love to dance? Zumba® is all the rage. Find the water refreshing? Aquasize your workout. Amp it up with a boot camp or get your Zen on with yoga, just to name a few. Let the instructor lead the way and feed off the energy of the group.
Health clubs offer a variety of group fitness classes; some are unique to their club so it’s smart to compare class types before joining. If you don’t want to join a health club, check out community centers or community colleges for non credit classes. If you’re more of a homebody, grab some of your neighbors or friends and pop in a fitness DVD to do together. There are lots of options available to help you reach your 2014 fitness goals.
What kinds of group fitness activities do you like to participate in? We love to hear from our fans!
