Remembering the meaning of Christmas
Christmas is magical. Regardless of your age, this time of year transports you back to your childhood. There might be memories of decorated trees, letters to Santa, colorful packages (maybe you tried to guess what was in it by shaking it or possibly smelling it), snow on the ground, and all the traditional celebrations with family and friends. As we get older, it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives and think of Christmastime as more of a chore than a celebration.
So let’s all take a moment this holiday season to stop and remember that the great thing about this time of year is having the chance to spend valuable time with your loved ones. Holiday traditions are important in every family as they provide meaningful lifelong memories. Whether you’re having a family game night, watching a Christmas movie, baking cookies, volunteering at a shelter, going to Church, or driving around to look at light displays, remember the feeling of joy and keep it with you throughout the year.
