Coca-Cola: More Than A Drink

Coca-Cola is a classic, refreshing beverage that tastes great all summer long.  Did you know that it also can be used around the house in a variety of ways?  We’ve listed some of our favorites below.

Bust Some Rust: You can use Coke to remove rust from your car and to loosen up rusty bolts and screws.

Clean Up Oil Stains:  If you have oil stains in your driveway or garage, just pour some Coca-Cola on the spot and let it set for a couple of hours.  Then, hose it off and the spot should be gone!

Plant Perk: If you have azaleas or gardenias that are in need of a little boost, just give them a couple of sips of Coke to perk them up.

Squeaky Clean: If you have dirt, grease, or bugs on your windshield, just wipe them off with some paper towels and Coca-Cola.

Take The Sting Out: Bee stings and mosquito bites can be itchy and annoying.  Luckily, you can just dab the affected area with some Coca-Cola to relieve the itch and provide some relief.

Besides drinking it, what are some of your favorite uses for Coca-Cola around the house?  Share with us in the comments section below.

  2. TlalocW

Po’ Boy BBQ Sauce – ketchup, garlic salt/powder, cinnamon, and Coke. Mix the first 3 together and then add the Coke a little at a time so it doesn’t get too runny.
